made from a single walnut board and designed to sit over a radiator, this bench’s cleats are attached into threaded inserts to allow for movement and pegged to the leg, allowing them to be removed and the bench modified as a stand alone piece for future use.

made entirely of hardwood, this piece provides overhead storage, hanging space and a dresser. It has traditional joinery, custom hardware and fits perfectly into its small nook. my favorite details were the handles and the pegged dowel which ensures the clothes hanger will never sag under load. a fun and challenging project.

mill-work for the chef driven high concept french restaurant on franklin st. in greenpoint. free edge bar and tables with hand carved handles on the wine cooler. A warm, cozy, and extremely welcoming restaurant in brooklyn.
an early project still very near and dear. built with cabin edge detail and painted pine.
a simple build in a beautiful gatehouse at the 1896 entrance to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. old paneling from the site was painted and used for the front of the bar and we used reclaimed oak in a nod to the disitillary’s whisky casks.

the first nice piece of furniture I built for myself. the top is out of old ash flooring and the base is constructed from beautifully straight grained southern yellow pine. drawer handles are vegetable dyed leather with walnut dowels.
